Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account information — email address, and profile info if you sign in with Google, via Supabase Auth.
• Usage data — which dishes you view, tap, save, and share, used to build your taste profile and personalise your feed. Nobody fills out a quiz; this is inferred silently from what you do on the site.
• Content you submit — dish submissions, community photos, and collections you create.
• Location — only if you use "Find Near Me", and only with your browser's permission prompt. We don't store precise location history.
• Basic analytics — aggregate, privacy-respecting page-view analytics via Vercel Analytics. No third-party ad trackers.

How we use it

To run the product: show you a feed, remember what you've saved and tried, personalise recommendations, and let you build a public taste profile if you choose to. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Third parties

We use Supabase (authentication and database hosting), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and OpenStreetMap/Nominatim (for nearby-restaurant lookups). Signing in with Google shares standard profile info per Google's own policies.

Your choices

You can delete saved dishes, collections, and submissions from within the product, or request full account deletion by emailing support@polydish.com.
